Med-Or Italian Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered in Italy, committed to strengthening dialogue, cooperation, and strategic partnerships between Italy, Africa, the Middle East, and the wider Global South.
The Med-Or Italian Foundation brings together Italy’s leading public and private enterprises, creating a powerful platform for collaboration and strategic vision. It is supported by a Strategic Committee composed of senior representatives from key Italian ministries, alongside a Scientific Committee and an International Board of Advisers.
Together, these bodies make the Foundation a truly distinctive initiative — a forward-looking model designed to strengthen and serve Italy’s national system.
Med-Or is a member of the Africa Task Force established by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to support the implementation of Italy’s strategic approach to Africa, known as the Mattei Plan. This framework seeks to reorient Italy’s foreign and economic policy toward Africa, acknowledging the continent’s growing strategic relevance.
